没想到这条蛇哥一下子飕到亻厓个后背
原来佢也吓到没命钻到亻厓脚唇个孔仔

人讲一日畀那蛇哥吓到十年会惊那草绳
遽遽下山去到山下那人多个位所
就惊怕路上又堵到扑等个蛇哥搜出来吓到

Also frightened for its life into a cave it went
With heavy heart I eventually made it to the mountain's peak
Wisdom has it, 'Once bitten, twice shy.'
Quick to descend the mountain I would try to reach
With lingering fears of encountering another venomous beast
My head was swirling, and my sight was hazy
Just when I saw that eagle on the tree with majesty
Never had I seen a bird its size in close proximity
And immediately forgot my fear of the slithery hostility
Why, snake in my mind

How swell the big snake is dispelled by an eagle
